Children may operate school bank accounts via an electronic service offered by arrangement with the Commonwealth Bank and P&C Association volunteers. Parents will be advised at the start of each year. If your child wishes to open an account, new account forms may be obtained at the office. At the beginning of the school year each Year 1 and Prep class will be provided with school banking information from the Commonwealth Bank.
Each year the P&C engages a professional photographer to take class photographs. The ordering process is organised directly through the photographer.
Qualified dentists and assistants carry out inspections and subsequent work, which may occur, at an on site Dental Clinic. The following is an extract from a letter to schools re Child and Adolescent Oral Health Service:
“Queensland Health Oral Health Services has now received state-wide direction from the Office of the Chief Dental Officer to provide dental vans on a rotational basis. We are resuming this service to schools that currently have mobile dental sitepads that comply with Queensland Health guidelines. Once dental sitepad guidelines are met, your school will be added to the mobile dental van school recall list. You will receive a letter when the mobile dental van is due to return to your school and dental staff will organise a meeting with you to discuss service delivery”.
Once we have had our sitepad checked that it complies with the necessary guidelines, parents and caregivers will be notified by a letter from our school.
