Children are encouraged to borrow books from the school library for home and classroom reading. The library also has internet access and computers that are available for student use.
Children are able to borrow books for learning and pleasure. Parents may also borrow books from the library.
All children from all year levels (including Prep) may borrow from the library.
Each child needs a library bag to protect the library book. (Should you wish to purchase one with our school logo on it, these are available from our tuckshop).
The maximum borrowing length of time for each book is two weeks. Books may be changed as often as you wish. However, if the book is not finished in that time it should be brought back to be redated for a further fortnight.
Care of Books
We understand that accidents can happen and that books are very vulnerable, but please return the item with an explanation. Parents and caregivers are expected to pay for lost or ruined books.
