On Wednesday 25 April, students from our school will march in the Anzac Day parade through the streets of Rockhampton. Students from Prep to Year Seven are invited to march. They should assemble in Alma Street, near the OzCare Building, at 9.30am.
Children can be picked up immediately after the parade at the Riverside Park, Quay Street.
Students should wear their best FULL blue and gold school uniform, with their blue school hat. Please note that we want FULL school uniform so that if it is cool only sweatshirts in school blue should be worn.
All children marching should report to our school group whether they are marching with us or with another group as every child who marches will receive a commemorative certificate. |

Our Parents and Citizens Association will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 20 March in the Administration Block. The meeting will commence at 6.30pm. This will be followed by the monthly general meeting at 7.00pm. All parents and interested members of the school community are welcome. |

Our school leaders for 2012 have been announced this afternoon. We would like to congratulate the Mount Archer State School School Captains for 2012:

All of the students who nominated for the position did a fantastic job with their speeches yesterday and should be very proud of their achievements. We hope that the students who were not successful for these positions pursuit house captain, students council or peer mediator roles.
